The Journey is an EdTech initiative during which teachers engage in scaffolded, constructive, work-based professional development to 1) develop during COVID- much needed remote/online instructional teaching approaches, 2) to boost their motivation & resilience 3) to introduce inquiry-based teaching strategies, Social-emotional learning and 21st skills.
TRIPLE M: Motivating-Mentoring-Mining
The Journey encourages and guides facilitators with needed skills to utilize low-digital ICTs to reach and interact with children with pedagogically-sound, learner-led, fun teaching strategies.
The Journey program is a 2month, online, supporting teachers to work with students aged 9-17 years old to emerge as student researchers, capable of actualizing 21st-century competencies. During the program, educators have experience by a Work-Based training professional session. Focusing on social-emotional learning, questioning strategy, and peer-to-peer networks to grow learning capacities.
